Discover the beauty of fresco with our Beginners' Fresco class. Led by Monumental artist, Sergei Rozhnov, you will be guided through the classical medium used for murals in the middle ages. Learn the basics of this ancient art form and the history behind it. A unique experience to help you create your very own masterpiece. Learn how to use mineral pigment wash on plaster and create an enticing painting of anything you choose, perfect for a personalised Christmas present inspired by the origins of the holiday. Proposed projects: 1. Still life of lilies from observation; the most common flower in frescos Excerpt from Famous Frescos: 2. Medieval angel or cherub 3. Madonna and Child All participants with be provided with: Wooden frame with panel base (50x60 cm) Plaster, high quality mineral pigments
