Service Description
We invite you to join us for an in-depth course to teach you the foundations of traditional sculpting facilitated by John Gale. Time: 3:00 - 6:00 PM Location: Art Roof Top, 1/F, 17-19 Yik Yam St, Happy Valley Fee: $605 per session The program includes on female life drawing (nude model), focus on human figure anatomy and time for lively conversation and afternoon tea! Session 1: Observation and working sketches of the model. Armature construction and first clay layer, and defining profiles and feature locations. Session 2: Complete the basic mass. Confirming feature locations and proportions. Session 3 & 4: Detailing and expressions + surface finish (Session 5 & 6, TBC in case past sessions were missed by consistent participants)
